Camden Access Advisory Group

The Camden Access Advisory Group has been established by Camden Council to work with Council and other agencies to address access issues in the Camden Local Government Area through a consultative, collaborative and action-oriented approach. The group consists of Councillors, Council staff, local people with a disability and carers as well as disability service providers.

For many people with disabilities the built environment acts as a barrier to full participation and inclusion in their community. The inability of people with disabilities to access facilities like everyone else is taken for granted by many in the community.

If you have any issues with access in the Camden local area please contact Camden Council on (02) 4645 5020

Aspect Macarthur School

Aspect's schools provide autism specific evidence-based programs for children from the age of four years. Our goal is to help students develop the skills to become as independent as possible and to enable them to succeed in the wider community. We tailor our learning environments to the special needs of students with an ASD. Class sizes are small with a high teacher to student ratio. All classes include a teacher and a teacher's aide.

Our Aspect Macarthur School caters for children aged 4 to 17 years. It was established in 2010 and was one of two new Aspect schools officially opened in May 2011. The school is based in the Macarthur region of NSW and covers a broad geographical area through its base and satellite classes. The school spans across four separate sites in the Macarthur area and includes our Northern Rivers educational program on the Far North Coast of NSW. Our satellite classes include infants, primary and high school programs within both the Department of Education and Catholic schools.
