We all have a story to tell; whether it's a tale of truth or one of imagination. Who better to tell a story than the kids in our lives.
Better Read Kids is inviting children between the ages of 6-17years to write a short story no longer than 1000 words using the theme for your age group.
All the entries will be published in a better read kids writing anthology with the winning entry in each category receiving a $100 better read than dead voucher, and two runners up receiving a $50 voucher.
Categories
Write a short story no longer than 1000 words using the theme for your age group. You can be as creative as you like!
Themes;
Green (ages 6-9)
Blue (ages 10-12)
Red (ages 13-17)
All entries will be collated into an anthology produced by Better Read Publishing, which will be launched online, and sold thereafter at Better Read Than Dead bookshop. T
This year, the schools of the winning three entrants will also receive a grant for their school library!
