Play is another way in which children learn. Play group and Babies into Books programs are a great way to give your child a head start in their education.

When your child is ready to start school you may choose between:

• Government schools (NSW Department of Education)
• Independent schools (usually have a religious affiliation and are controlled by a schoolboard)
• Home school (overseen by the Board of Studies NSW)
