Child Safety is Everybody's Business!

Whether you're a parent, community member, local organisation, sporting group or government agency, it's a shared responsibility keeping children safe. When organisations and communities adopt the Child Safe Standards, children's safety and welfare is at the forefront with a key focus on prevention.

Parents engage a range of services to work with their children - from schools, sporting programs and tutors, all of which are required to be Child Safe organisations. Parents and carers have the right to ask questions about organisations and services on how they keep children safe, to help decide whether they are suitable to work with your child.

If parents or carers are concerned that an individual or organisation is not acting in the best interests of the children they are providing services for, these concerns can be raised. For more information on Raising Child Safety Concerns
