Our Libraries are closed but find out what great things we have available to use from home and only using a library card to access.

Camden Libraries provides access to borrowing ebooks and audio books from the online library.  Our Libraries have two online services, CloudLibrary and IndyReads, and all you need is your Library Card to access them.

To supplement children’s education curricular at home, we provide access to some great resources. Check out the below.

Busycode - A fun introduction to computer programming for children 5 and up. Children will learn to create, run & debug simple computer programs.

 Ziptales – Supplement readers with ziptales. Learning to read doesn’t need to stop, online Reading program, with over 500 stories, games, puzzles and animations with voiceovers. Including Preschool literacy, nursery rhymes, beginner readers, alphabet, phonic sounds

Storybox Library - It’s a place where the wonderful world of Children’s Literature is on permanent exhibit and children can connect, engage and be inspired when they watch a range of celebrated stories read aloud by wonderfully engaging storytellers - actors, comedians, sports people, musicians, artists, authors, children.

EComics – Have unlimited access to thousands of digital comics, graphic novels, and manga all from the comfort of your own home! Or out and about with any of your mobile devices.

World Book online & Encyclopedia Brittanica- This one is great for assignments. Access to one of the world’s best Encyclopaedias. Information available at adult, high school and primary levels. Includes links to other online sources, journals and magazines.

National Geographic Kids Take an amazing adventure in science, nature, culture, archaeology, and space. Includes the complete run of the magazine from 2009 to the present, as well as books, videos, and images.

TumbleBooks - Tumble Book Library is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach children the joy of reading in a format they'll love.

MuzzyClub Language course - Right now, with no teaching required, your child has the natural ability to start speaking a foreign language. Developed by the BBC, Muzzy's simple and effective program works by teaching through fun and animated stories featuring Muzzy and friends. These stories use the natural immersion method, which is modelled after the way children learn their first language.

Literacy Planet - Literacy Planet encourages the learning of essential literacy skills including pre-reading, phonics, sight words, grammar and punctuation through a reward-driven learning platform that is fun.

Children Learn at Home this is a collection of resources to help in online learning, including Aboriginal mathematics, Education Live, NASA kids club and more.

Not forgetting the parents and carers at home, the Library has created a new page for adults, including mindfulness activities, move at home resources, hobbies, and more.

Have an explore through all our library e-Resources  to find the best activity for you and your family. There are online learning resources available for children and age appropriate supports for youth also. 

Also, don’t’ forget the Library can also help you access online tutoring through studiosity for your child’s needs.
